Breault Selected to D3football.com All-South Region Second Team

HUNTINGDON, Pa.- Senior wide receiver Kirby Breault (Elizabethtown, Pa./Elizabethtown) has been named to the D3football.com All-South Region Second Team. He is the second Juniata player to earn D3football.com All-Region honors and the first since Brendan Felus was named to the First Team in 2013.

 

Breault was one of 77 players chosen overall. He was also one of 12 players selected from the Centennial Conference.

 

Breault had a career year for the Eagles in 2016. He caught 84 passes for 1,325 yards and scored 11 touchdowns. He set the Juniata single-season record for most receptions in a season and his yardage total was the second-most ever in program history. Breault had 100+ yards receiving in all but one game with a season-best 213 yards on 13 catches in Juniata's 38-27 win over Ursinus on October 15.

 

The teams, selected in balloting by South Region sports information directors and D3football.com staff, were chosen from 229 nominations by Division III member schools.Players nominated for All-Region are eligible to be considered for D3football.com All-America honors, which will be announced the evening of Dec. 16, in D3football.com's pregame coverage for Stagg Bowl XLIV.
