HUNTINGDON, Pa.- Senior linebacker Jake Diviney (Altoona, Pa/Altoona Area HS) has been selected to the D3football.com Team of the Week, it was announced earlier today. This is his first weekly honor this season.
Against Ursinus last Saturday, Diviney led the Eagles in tackles with nine in total. He had one and a half sacks for a loss of 14 yards and 2.5 tackles for losses of 16 yards in Juniata's 38-27 victory over the Bears. It was his first sacks of the season.
Diviney leads the Eagles on the year in total tackles with 48 and is averaging eight stops per game. He has been the leading tackler for Juniata in three of its games in 2016.
