Vidovic Named Centennial Conference Co-Offensive Player of the Week

HUNTINGDON, Pa.-  Following a career performance yesterday against Gettysburg, Juniata sophomore running back David Vidovic (Hohenfels, Germany/Hohenfels) was named the Centennial Conference Player of the Week. He shares the honor with Muhlenberg quarterback Nick Palladino.

Making his first career start, Vidovic rushed 34 times for 172 yards and scored three touchdowns in the Eagles' 41-35 victory against the Bullets. He found paydirt on runs of four, one, and three yards. He became the first JC running back since 2003 to carry the ball over 30 times and the first running back to score three times since 2013.

Through three games, Vidovic's seven touchdowns leads all runners in the conference. His 311 yards is third in the conference.
