HUNTINGDON, Pa.- The Juniata football team hosts its Centennial Conference opener on Saturday as it welcomes Dickinson to Knox Stadium. Kickoff is set for 1:00 p.m.

The Eagle are coming off a 31-26 season opening win over Grove City last week.  Joel Reighard picked off a pass in the endzone with less than 10 seconds remaining to play as Juniata survived a late Grove City drive. It was one of two picks that he had on the day and on Tuesday he was named the the D3football.com Team of the Week. Hank Coyne completed 17-of-34 passes for 267 yards and two scores. David Vidovic ran 21 times for 80 yards and two touchdowns. Calvin Bembry added 16 touches for 65 yards. In the air, Kirby Breault ended the day with seven catches for 128 yards and a touchdown. 

Dickinson is licking its wounds after a 51-0 shuout by Randolph Macon. Quarterback Billy Burger threw for 129 yards, completing 15-of-34 passes and ran for 31 yards on the day. Jake Walbert finished with 58 yards on four catches. Senior James Ward covered 58 yards on four kick-off returns, setting the school record with 1,404 return yards in his career.

This will be the 28th meeting between the two schools with the Red Devils holding a 17-10 advatange. Dickinson won last year's game in Carlisle 10-0. The last time these two met in Huntingdon, the Eagles held on for a 38-35 win for their first victory over Dickinson on their home turf since 1956.
