  • Juniata Football Announces Camp Dates
    May 19, 2015
    HUNTINGDON, Pa. – Registration is still open for Juniata College Football’s Summer Youth Camp, which will be held June 16-17, 2015. The camp will be held from 8:30 a.m. to 11:30a.m. at Knox Stadium on the Juniata College campus. Registration is open to children entering grades 1 through 8 and will take place on June 16 at 8:15 a.m. at the entrance of Knox prior to the opening of camp. The cost is $40 per child.
  • Three Eagles Inducted Into NFF National Honor Society

    IRVING, TX- Three members of the Juniata football team recently earned membership to the National Football Foundation (NFF) Hampshire Honor Society. The organization recognizes football student-athletes from every division who have maintained a 3.2 cumulative GPA while being a starter in their last year of eligibility.
  • Wilt Honored at Local Banquet

    HUNTINGDON, PA- Senior linebacker Ethan Wilt (Altoona, PA/Altoona Area) was recently honored at the 18th annual National Football Foundation and College Hall of Fame Central Pennsylvania Chapter scholar-athlete awards banquet. The event was held on March 22 at the Penn State Hotel and Conference Center.
  • Udinski Signs With Munich Cowboys

    HUNTINGDON, PA- Senior quarterback Ward Udinski (Doylestown, PA/Central Bucks West), who completed a stellar four-year career with Juniata this past fall, will continue his football career overseas. Udinski has signed a contract for one year to play for the Munich Cowboys of the German Football League.

  • Udinski Honored at Allstate® Sugar Bowl

    HUNTINGDON, PA- Last Thursday, Juniata senior quarterback Ward Udinski (Doylestown, PA/Central Bucks West) was honored along with 21 other players who were named to the Allstate/AFCA Goodworks Team at halftime of the 2015 College Football Semifinal between Ohio State and Alabama at the Allstate® Sugar Bowl. The 22 players represented the Bowl Subdivision, Championship Subdivision, Divisions II, III, and NAIA.
  • Udinski Selected to USA College Football All-American Third Team; Wilt Named Honorable Mention

    HUNTINGDON, PA- USA College Football has announced its All-American Teams. Senior quarterback Ward Udinski (Doylestown, PA/Central Bucks West) was named to the Third Team. Senior linebacker Ethan Wilt (Altoona, PA/Altoona Area HS) received an Honorable Mention.
  • Udinski Tabbed Centennial Offensive Player of the Year; Five Eagles Named to All-Conference Team

    LANCASTER, PA- The Centennial Conference announced its All-Conference team in football on Tuesday. Senior quarterback Ward Udinksi (Doylestown, PA/Central Bucks West) was named the Offensive Player of the Year. In addition, he was also named to the First Team and joins four members of the Juniata football team that received All-Conference honors. Udinski is the first Juniata player to be named Offensive Player of the Year and just the second quarterback to win the award since Hewlitt Tomlin of Johns Hopkins did in 2011.
  • Eagles Claim Goalpost with Thrilling 44-35 Victory Over Susquehanna

    SELINSGROVE, PA- The Juniata Eagles football team ended the season on a high note as it defeated Susquehanna 44-35 in the annual Goalpost Game on Saturday afternoon at Lopardo Stadium. The goalpost returns to Juniata for a second straight season and the Eagles claim their first victory in Selinsgrove since 1980.

    BRIDGEPORT, CT- Two members of the Juniata football team were named Players of the Week by the Eastern Collegiate Athletic Conference (ECAC) on Tuesday. Quarterback Ward Udinski (Doylestown, PA/Central Bucks West) was selected as the Offensive Player of the Week while wide receiver Isaiah Slutter (Hawley, PA/Wallenpaupack) was chosen as the Special Teams Player of the Week.

Quarterback Ward Udinski (Doylestown, PA/Central Bucks West) was named the Offensive Player of the Week while receiver Isaiah Slutter (Hawley, PA/Wallenpaupack Area) was tabbed the Special Teams Player of the Week. It is the third such weekly award for Udinski this season while it is Slutter’s first.

The victory evens the Eagles record at 4-4 overall and 3-4 in the Centennial while the Green Terror fall to 1-7 and 0-7 in the conference.

    ALLENTOWN, PA- Host Muhlenberg held a commanding 35-0 lead before Juniata scored its first touchdown as the Mules defeated the Eagles 42-13 on Saturday afternoon at Scotty Wood Stadium. The loss drops JC to 3-4 overall and 2-4 in the Centennial while Muhlenberg improves to 6-1 overall and 5-1 in the conference.

    HUNTINGDON, PA- Juniata football returned to the gridiron on a cloudy and cool Saturday afternoon at Knox Field. The host Eagles held a 24-7 lead at halftime as they cruiused to a 38-10 victory over Ursinus. The win snaps a two-game winless streak for JC while the Bears suffer their first loss and are 5-1 overall and 4-1 in the Centennial. Juniata moves to 3-3 overall and 2-3 in the conference.

    HUNTINGDON, PA- Senior quarterback Ward Udinski was spotlighted on WJAC-TV after recently being named to the Allstate/AFCA Good Works Team. Udinski was one of 22 players in all of Division I, II, III, and NAIA to be honored with this distinction.

The loss drops the Eagles to 2-3 overall and 1-3 in the Centennial Conference while Hopkins remains undefeated at 5-0 and 4-0 in the conference.

    IRVING, TX- Selected as the best and brightest from the college gridiron, the National Football Foundation & College Hall of Fame (NFF) proudly announced today the 167 semifinalists for the 2014 William V. Campbell Trophy®, presented by Fidelity Investments® and hosted at the New York Athletic Club. Senior linebacker Ethan Wilt (Altoona, PA/Altoona Area) was named one of those semifinalists. This is the second straight year that a member of the Eagles has been named a semifinalist with former player Jared Shope being named one last season.
  • Football Falls From Unbeaten Ranks With Loss at Gettysburg

    GETTYSBURG, PA- Juniata football trailed 21-17 heading into the fourth quarter but host Gettysburg scored a touchdown with eight minutes to play and added a field goal with just over two minutes remaining to defeat the Eagles 31-17 on Saturday afternoon at Shirk Field. Juniata is now 2-1 overall and 1-1 in the Centennial Conference while the Bullets are 1-2 and 1-1.

    GROVE CITY, PA- The Juniata football team began its 2014 season on the road against Grove City on Saturday afternoon at Robert E. Thorn Field. Quarterback Ward Udinski (Doylestown, PA/Central Bucks West) threw a 12-yard touchdown pass to Aaron O’Brien (York, PA/York Catholic) with 7:37 remaining in the fourth quarter and the defense held firm to give the Eagles the win. It was the first meeting between the two schools since 1972.
