HUNTINGDON, Pa. – Juniata College football senior Brandon Felus (Columbia, Pa./Columbia) closed out the year and his career with another accolade.  The 6-3, 265 pound defensive tackle was recently named to D3football.com's Honorable Mention All-America Team.  This is his second All-America honor this year.  Felus was also voted Second-Team All-America by Beyond SportsNetwork.com earlier this month.

"What Brandon has done for Juniata football with his leadership and his play will not be replaced," said head coach Tim Launtz.  "But it will serve as an example for all Juniata men for what can be accomplished."

This is the first time since 1999 Juniata football has had someone earn All-America honors from two different organizations in the same year.  The senior captain is also the first Eagle All-American since 2001.  Named Eastern College Athletic Conference (ECAC) South Defensive Player of the Year and Centennial Conference Defensive Player of the Year, Felus was one of two Centennial defenders recognized by D3football.com.  He finished his season ranked 13th nationally in pass sacks and 27th in tackles for a loss.

A four year starter, he will graduate with a degree in accounting this spring.
