HUNTINGDON, Pa. – The Juniata College football team fell to Muhlenberg College 27-7 at home on Saturday afternoon in Centennial Conference action.  The Eagles (4-3, 3-3 Centennial) pulled within three in the second quarter, but Muhlenberg scored 17 straight points to earn the win.

"We just didn't do things today that we have done all year," said head coach Tim Launtz.  "I don't think we played with passion or desire.  But let's give Muhlenberg credit because they dominated both lines of scrimmage and they had a very good game plan."

This was the ninth meeting of the two programs and Muhlenberg (5-2, 4-2 Centennial) leads the all-time series 9-0.

Junior Ward Udinski (Doylestown, Pa./Central Bucks West) finished with a game-high 226 passing yards.  His longest completion of the day was a 34-yard bomb to junior Isaiah Slutter (Hawley, Pa./Wallenpaupack Area) that put the Eagles onto the board.  It marked Slutter's third touchdown reception and Udinski's 15th passing touchdown of the season.

Fellow junior Nick Stubbs (Funkstown, Md./South Hagerstown) had the best defensive game of his career.  He earned a career and game-high 12 tackles, nearly doubling his previous career tackle total of nine.  Also picking up a career-high in tackles was sophomore Jonah Plymire (York, Pa./Central York). The linebacker finished right behind Stubbs with 11, tied with junior Ethan Wilt (Altoona, Pa./Central York).  Plymire also forced the first fumble of his career in the game.

Juniata hits the road for its next two contests.  The Eagles take on McDaniel on Saturday, Nov. 2 before heading to Moravian on November 9.  They return home for the final game of the season on Saturday, Nov. 16 against Susquehanna in the annual Goal Post Game.  Kickoff for the battle against the Crusaders is set for noon.
