2011: Started all 10 games as a receiver for the Eagles... second on the team in receiving yardage with 212, and third with 19 receptions... hauled in nearly half of those against Muhlenberg with seven catches... recorded three receptions for 77 yards against Susquehanna, including a 39-yard catch on 4th-and-10 that gave the Eagles a 1st-and-goal and set-up the game-winning field goal... the 39-yard catch against the Crusaders was his longest of the season.
2010: A member of Juniata’s offensive and special teams units, Popley saw action in seven games… rushed six times for 21 yards, and had four receptions for 74 yards… his longest reception of the season was a 35-yard catch against Gettysburg… logged eight kick returns for 146 yards over the course of the season… had four returns for 77 yards against Muhlenberg, including a 24-yard KO return… also recorded a pair of tackles, both unassisted.
2009: Played in four games as a running back… carried 21 times for 25 yards… his longest run of the season was a six-yard rush versus Gettysburg… also recorded a pass reception against the Bullets… had one tackle on special teams against Johns Hopkins.
