Warren Places on Landmark First-Team, Daniels Earns Second-Team Honors

TOWSON, Md.- The Juniata baseball team earned a pair of Landmark Conference All-Conference honors, as first baseman Michael Warren landed on the First-Team and centerfielder Corey Daniels placed on the Second-Team as an outfielder.

Senior first baseman Warren earned his all-conference placement, placing on the First-Team. Among Landmark Conference players, Warren was third in batting average (.409), fourth in slugging percentage (.705), fifth in on-base percentage (.509), third in OPS (1.214), fourth in doubles (15), tied for third in triples (3), tied for seventh in home runs (6), sixth in RBI (43), tied for ninth in walks (23), and tied for fifth in total bases (93). He also set several historic single-season stat lines for the Eagles this season, setting the program's sixth-highest slugging percentage (.705), fifth-highest on-base percentage (.509), tying for the second-most doubles in a season (15), tying for the third-most RBI in a season (43), and tying for the fourth-most total bases in a single season (93).

Warren also set the program's single-game record for doubles with four against Scranton. 

Warren will return for a graduate season in 2024, and he currently holds the program's ninth-best slugging percentage (.445) and eighth-best on-base percentage (.415).

Junior centerfielder Daniels landed on the Second-Team for outfielders in a strong season offensively and defensively. 

Daniels was the Eagles' go-to centerfielder this season and posted the Landmark's best stolen-base percentage (1.000), seventh-best fielding percentage (.991), seventh-most stolen bases (15), eighth-most hits (53), and tying for the seventh-most runs (40). 

Daniels also placed himself in the program's record book in a few single-season stat categories, setting the program's best stolen-best percentage (1.000), collecting the eighth-most stolen bases (15), and tying for the ninth-most runs.
