A dominant player on the volleyball court for Juniata during the late 1980s, Jackie Rebert earned four varsity letters as an outside hitter for coach Larry Bock. She was a three-time Middle Atlantic Conference (MAC) all-star and was selected as an all-American two times during her career, including a spot on the prestigious ASICS/Tiger all-American squad (a team that is made up of just six athletes each year) following her senior season. She was named the most valuable player of the Juniata team in 1988 and that same year was selected to the all-tournament squad at the NCAA Division III championship. As a junior, the Spring Grove High School product became the first player in school history to register 500 or more kills in a season with 512. She graduated as the program's career leader in kills (1,707), total attacks (3,930) and digs (1,136), and at the time of her induction, was third in kills, third in total attacks, and fourth in digs on the Juniata all-time charts. With her on the squad, the College Hill team won four straight MAC and regional crowns, and recorded an overall record of 173-30 including a school standard 53 victories in 1987. Juniata advanced to the NCAA semifinals and finals during all four of her seasons.
