Weather Causes Cancellations and Postponements of Athletic Contests

HUNTINGDON, PA- The winter storm that has moved through the Huntingdon area has forced the cancellation and postponement of many athletic events this weekend. They are detailed below.

Saturday’s track and field meet at Oller Track has been cancelled and will not be rescheduled. Both the men’s and women’s teams will now begin their outdoor season next Saturday at the Susquehanna Invitational.

The men’s and women’s tennis match against Catholic on Saturday will go on as scheduled. Both teams’ matches versus Elizabethtown and the men’s match against Rutgers-Camden on Sunday, however, have been postponed. The Eagles and Blue Jays will look to play next Friday, March 27 at 2 p.m.

Baseball’s doubleheader with Susquehanna in Selinsgrove on Saturday has been moved to Sunday starting at 12 p.m. Sunday’s nine-inning contest will now be held on Monday at 4 p.m. If needed, Tuesday will be the rain out date if the games can’t be played on Sunday.

Softball’s doubleheader tilt with the Crusaders on Saturday has also moved. Juniata and Susquehanna will play on Sunday starting at 1 p.m.
