What do I need in order to access the Brumbaugh Fitness Center, Binder Natatorium, and the other facilities in the Kennedy Sports + Recreation Center?

To access any of our recreation centers you need to obtain membership.  You can obtain membership in person by contacting Lori Hoffman in the Juniata College Athletics Department Office, located on the second floor of Kennedy S+RC. It is recommended you call ahead of time at 814-641-3507 to schedule a time to purchase a membership. Once you have purchased the membership, you will need to have your membership card on your person whenever you are using the facilities.

Use of all athletic facilities is free of charge to Juniata College students, as well as for Juniata faculty and staff and their immediate dependents. Use of the facilities is also free of charge for residents of Westminster Woods retirement community as part of its “Passport to Juniata” program. Use of the facilities is limited to their regular business hours.

ALL DEPENDENTS UNDER THE AGE OF 18 MUST BE ACCOMPANIED AND SUPERVISED BY AN ADULT MEMBER AT ALL TIMES.

May I sign up my spouse/partner for membership?

Spouses and/or partners may use the facilities only if a family membership has been purchased.

May I bring in a guest?

Guest passes are not available; only paid members may use the facilities.

Is parking available for recreation users?

The Juniata Athletics Department does not control the available parking near our facilities.  There is limited on-campus parking available for guests, located in the lot off 19th Street on the side of the Kennedy Sports + Recreation Center.
